<title>Mass Schedule</title>
<description>&lt;strong&gt;Weekdays:&lt;/strong&gt; 8:00 am&lt;br&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Saturdays:&lt;/strong&gt; 8:00 am &amp;amp; 5:00pm (Sunday Vigil Mass)&lt;br&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Sundays:&lt;/strong&gt; 8:00am, 10:00am, 12:00pm, &amp;amp; 6:00pm&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;strong&gt;First Friday of the Month:&lt;/strong&gt; 8:00 am and 7:30 pm&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Mass schedules vary on certain feast days and holy days of obligation. <description>St. Anne sponsors a CYO program as one dimension of the total ministry to youth. Athletic programs can help young people toward imperishable crowns as well as perishable ones. A parish CYO program justifies its existence, the sacrifice, and expense it entails only if it makes better Christians of its participants.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;In our CYO program, emphasis rests not on the number of games won or lost, but on the participants' attitude in victory or defeat. Learning how to lose is just as important as learning how to win. Learning how to win graciously is more important than winning itself.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Our program is designed to serve the needs of all our youth. It enables the gifted to excel, the less gifted to participate and improve. &quot;Star&quot; athletes and teams do not receive exclusive attention.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;The principles of fair play and sportsmanship must govern every game. Dishonesty has no place in CYO competition. CYO competitors must not borrow from professional sports questionable techniques for winning at any cost.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Finally, St. Paul advises in I Cor. 9:24 &lt;span&gt;—&lt;/span&gt; &quot;run to win&quot;. <title>Youth Ministry - Confirmation</title>
<description>The Confirmation preparation program at St. Anne’s is a two-year process, with the first year completed as a participant in the &lt;strong&gt;&lt;em&gt;Saint Anne&lt;/em&gt; Youth Ministry&lt;/strong&gt; program.  Students may begin the enrollment process for Confirmation as early as spring of their freshman year, &lt;span class=&quot;marked&quot;&gt;provided&lt;/span&gt; they have previously registered for Youth Ministry and attended the fall or spring retreat.  The process begins with the enrollment interviews in May, and a decision is made at that time if you would like to enter the program. Those deciding on enrollment are given a candidate agreement that is returned with baptismal &amp;amp; sponsor information, along with a registration fee.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;The immediate preparation for the sacrament begins in the fall. <title>Saint Anne Youth Ministry</title>
<description>&lt;em&gt;Saint Anne&lt;/em&gt; Youth Ministry is open to youth entering the ninth grade, or for those in high school who have not had youth ministry experience previously.  Our purpose is to build a community of young people examining issues at the forefront of their minds &amp;amp; lives, to encourage growth socially, provide interaction through community service projects, and faithfully deepen the relationship with &lt;br&gt;God.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;In April all the students are invited to register for the sacrament of Confirmation preparation program, however this is not a requirement of any student. &lt;span class=&quot;marked&quot;&gt;In order to register for Confirmation, you must be registered for and have participated in the &lt;em&gt;Saint Anne&lt;/em&gt; Youth Ministry meetings and one Youth Ministry retreat.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;h1&gt;Weekly Meetings&lt;/h1&gt;During the school year the Youth Ministry group meets on Monday evenings in the parish hall.  From 6:00 to 6:30 p.m. youth may arrive and have time to socialize and check out upcoming events.  At 6:30 p.m. we begin our meeting and will finish with closing prayer by 8:30 p.m.  There is a phone available if anyone needs to call locally for a ride home.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;h1&gt;Retreats&lt;/h1&gt;In addition to &lt;em&gt;Saint Anne&lt;/em&gt; gatherings, we offer Youth Ministry participants two weekend retreats a year, one in the winter and one in the spring. <title>Youth Ministry - EMMAUS Peer Ministry</title>
<description>For over 20 years, Youth Ministry at St. Anne’s has focused on a peer ministry model to promote and foster leadership among youth.  We use the example of the road to EMMAUS (Luke 24:13-35) as a model that we journey together, with the Lord, in our everyday lived experiences.  &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;EMMAUS is an existing group of young people who have expressed an interest in serving the Church through the Youth Ministry program for one year.  For example, a group might prepare youth liturgies and retreats.  Other responsibilities include planning and leading workshops, icebreakers and prayer for youth ministry meetings &amp;amp; facilitating small group discussions.  &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;The peer ministry group also takes on different projects throughout the year like the SOUPER Bowl project…a coat/glove/hat drive in November and a sock drive in the spring, along with our monthly stewardship collections for various charities. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;The EMMAUS peer ministry group has an annual 3-day training retreat during the summer, and also meets monthly for enrichment and planning. Peer ministry is open to high school students’, sophomore and above, already confirmed. <title>Couples For Christ</title>
<description>&lt;br&gt;Couples For Christ (CFC) is an international Catholic Christian Ministry that focuses on married couples through a seminar called the Christian Life Program (CLP). The program's emphasis is on husband and wife growing together in their Christian lives. It also focuses on the strengthening and the development of the Domestic Church, which is the family. Other programs that reach out to other members of the family - widows, singles, divorced, youth and children. We welcome everyone.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;For more information on this valuable program, contact the Saint Anne Parish Office, or visit the Couples For Christ Northern California Chapters Web Site.St. Anne Filipino Group&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;It was early in 1973 when Sister Felicia Sarati, CSJ, approached some people about the idea of forming a parish group for Filipinos. The idea was welcomed by the nucleus group of seven couples.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;In the spring of 1973, a special Filipino Mass and pot luck was organized to launch the beginnings of the group. The response was overwhelming and the St. Anne Filipino Group was formed. We formulated our goals to have solidarity in purpose. It was this simple statement - &lt;em&gt;&quot;we exist to help the community with one and to extend that communal concern with those in our community of faith&quot;&lt;/em&gt;. We seek to identify the needs of the Filipinos in our area and respond to them.</description>
