In today’s Gospel reading, Matthew 21:33-43, talks about bearing fruits for the kingdom of God, or it will be taken away.
The fruits in the gospel talks about the Gift that was given to us by God, and the vineyard, being the city, state, country we live in. Each of us were given a specific gift to use and share with the world, in some way or form. You can say that’s why we go a specific college, trade school, medical school, military to use elevate the gift given to us by God.
But if the Gift is not used in the correct way it was intended, it can be taken away and be given to someone else. Part of our faith is to serve others and treat everyone like we want to be treated. Yes, it’s difficult at times but that’s were having faith in you that you can do it and asking for help when needed.
