In this week’s gospel reading of Mark 1: 21-28, Jesus and his disciples come to a town named, Capernaum. When the Sabbath day arrived, Jesus went to the synagogue and to teach. Jesus is meet by individual who is saying things to him. Jesus knows that the individual is not himself and commands the evil spirit to leave the body and the evil spirt leaves the individual body.
Everyday, we are challenged in our life journey to make the right decision. If we choose correctly, then we can continue, if we choose wrong, then is some hold-up, delay to our journey.
Our faith tells us that, we must believe. When go to church we listen to readings and take communion, the body and blood of Christ. If this is our belief, then Jesus is inside of us.
With Jesus inside of us, he is also with us on the journey, watching us, making sure we are on the right road, looking for the signs and listening to his voice. If there is something that is blocking or an object blocking our way, he will let us know how to complete the challenge, do the right thing, know what is right from wrong.
