   Every year at this time, the Bishop’s Ministries Appeal is held in our Diocese. This year’s theme is Ministries of Hope…. “ reflecting our commitment to serve as living witnesses of Christ’s love in our community. This vision embodies the virtue of hope and demonstrates how our collective faith transforms lives through tangible actions and meaningful service.”
        
   This year, St. Anne’s goal is the same as last year: $ 43,600. Last year we raised $ 40,678.87 or 93.3% of our goal. We are very grateful to those members of our parish community who gave to the 2024 Bishop’s Appeal. Thank you. This year, we hope everybody contributes to reach 100% of our goal. Should we exceed 100% of our goal, anything raised in excess is returned to the parish for our use. Gifts are gratefully accepted via check, credit card or direct debit of a checking account. Parishioners can give online by visiting the Bishop’s Ministries Appeal website at www.oakdiocese.org/bishops-ministries-appeal . Thank you and God bless you for your help and support.
        
3. All are invited to a special Stations of the Cross this Friday, April 4 at 7:00 p.m. We will be reflecting on the sin of racism and praying to overcome it. This community-led prayer will be done in collaboration with parishioners from All Saints Church in Hayward. Please join us in fellowship to pray about and reflect on this important issue.
        
4. On the Sunday of Divine Mercy, April 27, 2025, Most Reverend Michael Barber, Bishop of Oakland, will officially install Fr. Benedict as our new pastor. We do hope that all can join us to make this a true celebration for the entire parish. After the Installation Mass, there will be a reception in the Parish Hall with lots of food if we all contribute. If you wish to help, your monetary donation is much appreciated. Please give your donations through the Office.
