Spread the Gospel, Live It, and Teach It to Others
The Gospel states:
“Since many have undertaken to compile a narrative of the events…the word have handed them down to us, I too have decided…
to write it down in an orderly sequence for you.”
Though in this was written about 50 years after Jesus’ death and resurrection, Luke acknowledges that. What he is going and proclaiming to people is what we try to do ourselves in our own way.
Things that come from taking narrative and wanting to do something about it. Whether it be through actions and supporting important causes. Such as going to protests like Me Too, Black Lives Matter, Free Palestine, etc. Or being behind the scenes and speaking up, standing up for what you believe in on those same matters if you can’t go out and support. Or both.
We see that here with our Emmaus Peer Ministry group or our teaching staff. We do what we do because of what we believe in and how we want to be able to give back to the community and more specifically the younger community to keep that message going.
We make connections and be personable so that we can come to a better understanding of our beliefs and why our families chose this to have us all grow our faith in.
